Each lesson includes a Teacher’s Guide with reading guidance, discussion questions, vocabulary, key concepts, and age-appropriate student activities. Student notebook pages are provided for three different grade ranges:

Activities vary throughout the unit and may include labeling, drawing, matching, crosswords, simple research, observation, anatomy investigations, and short written responses. Younger students focus on recognition and understanding, while older students dig deeper into anatomy, structure, function, and scientific reasoning.
